How do I make an appointment for a phone or tablet repair?

Simply select your phone or tablet above, let us know what needs to be repaired, and book an appointment time at the store that works best for you.

When do I pay for the repair?

Payment is collected after the repair service is completed. However, in the case that parts need to be ordered, payment may be collected up front. If you would like to know if we have a part in stock contact us.

What is my device's model?

You can find your phone or tablet model by going to settings > about device. You can also look on the original box or sometimes it is on the back of the device.

Do I need to make an appointment for a repair or can I just walk in?

Appointments are not required at SmartphonesPLUS. Walk ins are always welcome!

How long does a repair usually take?

We keep hundreds of replacement parts in stock and can complete most repairs within a few hours. There are some repairs that can take longer. Your SmartphonesPLUS technician will give you the estimated turnaround time after diagnosing your device.

What if a repair does not have a price or has a price of $0.00?

Instant price quotes are not available on all repairs. Some repairs require a staff member to collect more information. For these repairs, you will still be able to schedule an appointment. A staff member will then follow up with more information.

What if I can't find my device or the exact repair for my device?

If you cannot find a device or a repair contact us and we can provide more information.

What is the difference between an OLED and LCD screen replacement?

For some models, we offer two different screen replacement options: OLED and LCD. An OLED (organic light-emitting diode) is a higher quality screen than an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display). OLED screens have a higher color contrast and are more efficient than LCD screens. If your device came with an OLED display from the factory we would recommend getting an OLED screen replacement. This will allow your device to operate at peak performance. However, for some phone models, we offer the LCD screen replacement as an economical option.

Is it possible to fix a water damaged device?

Yes, many times water damage can be fixed. However, water damage repairs are not guaranteed or covered by a warranty. If your device is water damaged, we recommend stopping by our store as soon as possible to avoid any further damage and to increase the likelihood of a successful water damage repair.

My screen is black or has lines down it, can this be repaired?

Generally, when the screen goes black, but the device is functional (vibrates, rings, charges, etc.) it will need a screen replacement. Sometimes when a phone is dropped or damaged different colored lines can appear on the screen. This usually can be repaired with a screen replacement too.

Does SmartphonesPLUS repair Apple Watches or other smartwatches?

We do not repair smartwatches (Apple Watches, Samsung Watches, etc.). Smartwatch repairs are generally not cost-effective. However, you can trade in your broken smartwatch for another one with us. Our stores keep a variety of smartwatches in stock.
